This Monday Sucks

You would think that being the Monday before July 4th, which is on Wednesday, would be a relatively easy day. People would take off today and tomorrow. Things in general would run smoother . . . right?
Nope! Not at all.
Today it took me an hour and 45 minutes to get to work. Hell it was an hour just to get out of New York. Why you say? Because of a lovely accident under the apartments on the way to the GWB. After I finally get across the bridge, all is fine, until I get like 5 minutes from the job when another accident is in front of me which has backed things up a couple of miles (Nothing major like the GWB).
Then I have to deal with a busy day at work. What happened to vacations, people? Ah . . . the fun of working for an IT help desk. Maybe the afternoon will be better.
