29 and Counting

By Gooch | January 9, 2008

Let the new year begin!

Ok I’m sure you’re wondering what the hell I mean.  Well today is my birthday! I’m so close to the New Years that in my head the new year doesn’t start until my birthday.  I am the ripe old age of 29.  Now as I’ve told Jo many times, I don’t feel 29 at all.  I still feel like I’m in my early 20’s, but that’s how life is.

In keeping with a kind of tradition of mine , I present to you my 2007 in review.

January: Ummm . . . not much went on that month

February: Valentine’s Day dinner at Morton’s the day after the first big winter storm of the year.

March: Lunacon and meeting a nice group of folks.

April: PS3! Enough said

May: Basically another dead month.

June: Find out that my job is being outsourced and we will lose our jobs at the end of January 08. Got a speeding ticket around the corner from my job.

July: The restart of my webpage.  Getting a promotion at work (finally!).  Hersheypark Trip. Yankees road trip to Baltimore.

August: Chicago Road Trip (with bonus Gus appearance).

September: 2 years of Us.  Jo’s 40th birthday.

October: Yankees lose to Cleveland in the playoffs. Midnight launch of Guitar Hero III!

November: Rock Band!  Trip to see Grandma in NC and then Thanksgiving at Aunt Ronnie’s house in DE.

December: Terence visits for Christmas.

I think that’s about it.

Here’s hoping for a good 2008.

    Happy Birthday To You
    Happy Birthday To You
    Happy Birthday Dear Will
    Happy Birthday To You

Yeah – you know it’s better I “sing” it here than in person. LOL Hmmm wonder if Grandma’s called you yet to sing you Happy Birthday. LOL

Gonna quote your bday card to me again. (I love that card!):

Another year for you; is another year of you for me. And that’s a gift for both of us.

    I Love You Baby
