What Surprises May Come
By Gooch | June 15, 2010
Today is what I consider the best E3 press conference: the Sony conference. Let’s see what surprises they have up they’re sleeves after all the reveals of the last few weeks. One megaton bomb would be a release date for Gran Turismo 5 (finally!). I’m sure they have a lot under their hats that no one knows about (ie. last year’s reveals of Agent and Final Fantasy XIV). I’m also looking forward to seeing what else comes out about PlayStation Move.
Today is also the Nintendo conference. We’ll see what Nintendo has up its sleeves. Last year was interesting to say the least (Vitality Sensor anyone?). I have a Wii, but I’m sure like a lot of people, mine is mainly sitting gathering dust. It had its novelty when I first got it, but having motion controls only just didn’t seem to work for certain types of games. Yes Sony is coming out with their own motion control apparatus but at least with them, you can at least not use it and it’s going to be used for more than just Wii clones.
I have plenty of thoughts on the Microsoft conference from yesterday which will come with my thoughs from today’s conferences.
